John, among others, and on every outing their understated funk brought a hint of taste and class to the proceedings. Metdrs version of the band doesn't have a studio recording out, but hearing the band with guitarist Brian Stoltz, who hasn't recorded with the Funky Meters yet, is worth paying double for this disc!
